AERO CONTRACTORS FLIGHT TO ABUJA RETURNS TO PORT HARCOURT OVER BIRDS ATTACK

An Abuja bound Aero Contractors flight returned to Port Harcourt after one of the engines of the aircraft was hit by bird few minutes after take-off in what is popularly known as bird strike.

A bird strikes are a collision between an airborne animal (usually a bird or bats) and a moving vehicle, usually an aircraft.

Ufuoma Bernard, a passenger who narrated his experience on the flight on social media stated Aero Contractors’ aircraft suffered bird strike five minutes after take-off to Abuja.

Bernard further stated that the aircraft landed back in Port Harcourt airport successful with crew and passengers.

Recalled that two months ago, a Lagos bound Aero Contractors flight returned to Kano after one of the engines of the aircraft was hit by bird during take-off.
