EDO GUBERNATORIAL ELECTION: APC CANDIDATE OKPEBHOLO PULLS CLEAR WITH ABOUT 50,000 VOTES WITH 2LGs RESULTS REMAINING

Senator Monday Okpebholo, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), is currently leading in the collation of results in the ongoing governorship election in Edo State.

So far, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared results in 16 Local Government Areas (LGAs).

Okpebholo has polled a total of  244,549 votes while Asue Ighodahlo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has secured 195,954 votes, leaving a margin of 48,393 votes.

Olumide Akpata of Labour Party is trailing with 13,348 votes.

While Okpebholo has emerged victorious across 10 LGAs, Ighodahlo has won 6 LGAs.
